My Beautiful Place

I saw the beautiful moon, shiny stars also the shiny light and a dog crossing the grass, love hearts and my love land. When I saw fat nice yummy strawberries, I ate some of them. I also drank some water to wash it down, it was nice.

I touched the flowers, beautiful hearts and an old tree. It felt like it was going to break.

When I ate the strawberries, they felt nice. I also felt flowers, water, stars and love hearts.

I smelt strawberries, flowers, water, stars and also love hearts but the worst thing was the dog smell. It smelled like fish and dog pooh.

What I heard was a dog barking, stars falling like shooting stars and also amazing hearts and lovely people talking. It was beautiful.

AND THAT IS MY BEAUTIFUL PLACE.

Using Google Maps

This is a map showing all of the stadiums in NZ where RWC games will be played. I went onto google maps and found each stadium. Then I put on blue pins so you can see where they are easily. I now know how to find places using google maps. I think google maps is good because it helps you find other places in New Zealand and around the world.

Describing Piri-Weepu

Romeo Sao

It was windy as I looked out from the stadium to see Piri Weepu...He was leading the haka when he looked at me he looked like a terrifying, brave warrior.

He looked like he had brown eyes, a tattoo, anger but nice on the inside, intimidating and looking like he’s going to explode.

The game stated in 1-min Piri Weepu zoomed across the field and past every one that was playing. They yelled out “Try!”

Mr Weepu is like a rocket. He sprints across for another try, but went to the ground from a tackle made by a samoa team player. Mr Weepu passed it to Richie then Richi passed it back to Mr Weepu. He got a try. Every one was yelling out “Go Piri Weepu!”

He is represents NZ proudly and is proud of his culture. He is caring towards other people and is also a good leader.

Extreme Storms Group

I was in the Extreme Storm Group for inquiry. We've been planning this for the past 4 weeks. This is our final presentation. We tried very hard with our teacher to put the information into our own words. We hope you like it!
